July / August 2005 Ministry Update. Warm end-of-summer greetings. We are in high drive gearing up and wrapping up ministries at the same time. Highlights below.
  • By God's grace we wrapped up the IVCF fiscal year in the black. Thank you for your prayers and extra year-end support!
  • This week I am wrapping up two Grad IVCF Small Groups that have been immersed in the glorious Gospel of Matthew together this summer.
  • Attended the Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity national conference and am gearing up with loads of bioethics related resources for graduate and professional students who will face such in the academe, research, and in their practice. The goal is to think and act more biblically in the face of vast secular intolerance.
  • At Midwest Regional GFM (Graduate and Faculty Ministry) Staff meetings this last week we were gearing up for prayer-saturated evangelism and whole - life discipleship on campus beginning these next couple weeks.

  • Praise God with me that at the above m entioned regional meetings after prayer and discussion, the top new initiative approved was for a respectful engagement of graduate and professional school departments with a t least one prophetic fo cus being on bioethics.
  • Pray with me that this new initiative above does not get lost in the shuffle, diluted or lost in translation and that much glory will go to the Author of Life we mortals are bles t to image. Speaking of which, have you seen the new movie "T
